Threading dies are main accessory of pipe threading because it affects the threads quality directly and determines whether your pipe connection is tightly and precisely or not. Hongli want to match useful pipe threading dies to our pipe threading machines and then provide you a right-hand tool.

CS pipe dies are made of Alloy 9Cr2.

SS pipe dies are made of reinforced Alloy 9CrSi. It is going to replace all the CS threading dies.

HS pipe dies are made of HSS AG131. It is more cost effective than HSS threading dies.

HSS pipe dies are made of HSS 6542.

Each small pipe threading dies can only process one size of pipes. That is, 1/2”threading dies can only process 1/2”pipes. As the size of the pipe changes, you will also need to replace the threading dies to proceed. The small threading dies are used on handheld pipe threaders or ratchet pipe threaders.

Each set of big threading dies can process a certain size range of pipes. For example, 1/2”-3/4”pipe threading dies can process all size of pipes in this range. No need of frequent replacement of threading dies. The big threading dies are used on stationary pipe threading machines. There are several types of stationary threading machines in Hongli Pipe Machinery.
